BEAUTY AT HOME

I was given the book by Aerin Lauder called “Beauty At Home” by the client. The project was a lot of fun with real involvement from the clients and their children. A few antique furniture items and paintings from their previous home but a very contemporary feel. It was a joy working with architect Matt Chaplin of Sumich Chaplin Architects .The beauty sits in a strong modern build with a stone base, shutters and spaces drawing visitors to the fabulous views
Lauder perfectly sums up the clients wishes when she said:
“If I’m going to do something traditional there usually will be something contemporary right next to it. I like the energy that comes from the contrast.”
